Course Overview

This City & Guilds accredited module was produced by Virtual College in association with nutrition experts Verner Wheelock Associates. It’s based on the syllabus of the Level 2 Award in Healthier Food and Special Diets.

This self-study training provides a good grounding in basic nutrition. It’s suitable for people working in catering environments who are responsible for selecting ingredients, and planning menus and recipes to improve the health of specific groups of people, such as the elderly or the young.
